Development of USD 50 Million Green Climate Fund (GCF) project proposal for work in Drylands of Kenya for IUCN (2017).
The goal of the proposed project is to contribute to ending recurring national drought emergencies in Kenya.
This will be achieved, in part, by building the resilience of communities and ecosystems to future climate shocks and stresses, taking into consideration the unique conditions,challenges and opportunities of dry rangeland.
