The assignment builds on the work done under the NCCAP 2018-2022 and related ATAR and MTAR reports by assessing the priority actions across key sectors, the levels of ambition including budgets provided through the government and financing gaps that require international support to facilitate Kenya to be on track to achieve the NDC target. Further, details on the critical role of the private sector in financing the transformation of Kenya towards a low carbon society were addressed in the financing strategy.
